Breakages

We pride ourselves on the outstanding quality of our products and all are checked to ensure they are in perfect condition prior to shipping. They are packed securely and safely for transit to you, however, we are reliant on third party services and their employees to deliver them. In the unlikely event that something is damaged in transit please contact me within 24 hours of receiving it so that we can make contact with the courier company to investigate.

Cancellation

If you wish to cancel an order please contact MJ Candles at [email protected] immediately. Once payment for an order has been accepted, cancellation is at the discretion of MJ Candles. Because we hand-pour our candles for each order, we apologise that once an order is in production it cannot be cancelled.

In the case cancellation is accepted, we also reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee to cover any costs for administration. We will refund the full amount in this instance, less the any of the above incurred charges.

Please note we do not exchange or refund for change of mind or because the product was not what you expected.

Candle Care

Every MJ Candle comes with detailed Candle Care instructions. Please ensure you read this and care for your candle as outlined. You can also read the detailed candle care information here. We do not accept responsibility for products which have not been cared for as recommended in the Candle Care instructions.

Each candle also has a warning sticker on the bottom. 

NEVER leave burning candles unattended and keep out of reach of children and pets. Never burn a candle near anything flammable. Always place on a stable, level and heat resistant surface. Handle with care as container may become hot. Keep the wick trimmed to 5mm before or after burning, to avoid smoke and a large flame.
